
I did this painting with the brush and ink from our kits. It is on about 8″x12″ ripped printmaking paper. I started with the light wash of the body that is sideways and then switched the orientation to do a darker, cleaner, and bolder ink drawing of the same body picture but a different portion of it. I got the image off of a website artmodeltips.com that has a ton of stock images of nude models posing in different ways. After I finished both figures I decided to splatter some of the ink left on my brush to give a sense of movement and even make it kind of look like she is dancing in rain.
Nicely done. Good composition. I wonder if you considered not outlining your figure entirely. What would happen if some of the medium or light brush work delineated some of the edges of the figure.
