This is a side profile portrait of a model I found online. I am happy with the proportions (other than the location of the ear.) I wish that my shading was more consistent. I used pencil and drew it in my sketch book. It took me about an hour.

I love the amount of expression in the face! There is a strong emotive quality. Although there is great effective motion an direction in the hair, this could be an opportunity for exploring how hair reacts to light and shadow.
