This is a self-portrait, done in approximately forty minutes, using graphite on fine-tooth paper.
Im fairly happy with how this turned out. My biggest complaint would be that I wish I had darkened some of my shadows to create more of a contrasting effect
Nice Drawing Ian, now that you have posted it and have a record, why not go back into it with a 2h pencil and darken your eyes (iris) a little maybe keeping a highlight and darken your upper lip a little. If you don’t like what it does you can use a kneaded eraser to dab (not rub) it out. But I think this is the best portrait you have done this semester. Congratulations
