I usually have a hard time fitting one person on a page without accidentally cropping them so I hope I’ll be able to draw two people and still be able to fit them on the page. I want to improve drawing folds on clothing and also improve adding value, I went a little light with value with my last drawings.
After drawing:
I wasn’t able to fit both people on the page without cropping one of them. I also had a hard time drawing fingers and eyes. I think adding wrinkles and folds where the fingers bend helps my drawing a bit. I am still having a hard time adding value to the folds in clothes. It doesn’t look very natural. Maybe it is because the folds don’t really follow the bend of the torso?
there is something very pleasing and familiar about these two sitting companionably, one playin, one watching. But do look at how you use line, try to vary its qualities throughout your drawings.
