I based this drawing on a photo that my dad took from the stairs of our house looking down at our living room, where my older brother and I were both napping on the couch (me on a beanbag chair on top of the couch). This was a lot harder than I thought it would be and took me a while because of all of the colors and shadows, but I am pretty happy with the finished product. I decided to leave the walls and rug blank so that it was not too busy and cluttered, and showed the couch and me and my brother as the focus.
